iPhone iOS 18 Self Service Repair Update

With the new iOS 18, Apple has introduced the ability to configure replacement parts and remove the “unknown part” message under certain conditions:

1. Reusing Parts from Another iPhone:
If you’re reusing parts from another iPhone that is not linked to an Apple ID, the part can be configured directly. However, if the part is tied to an Apple ID, you will be required to enter the Apple ID credentials to complete the calibration process.

2. Purchasing Parts from Apple or Authorized Providers:
Parts purchased directly from Apple or through Apple Independent Repair Providers will be processed with a new serial number via the Apple Repair System. This allows for self-calibration of the part.

Please note, the serial numbers for the Service Pack LCDs we offer are not processed through the Apple Repair System, meaning they will not automatically self-calibrate. For these parts, the IC must still be replaced to complete the calibration process.
